Job Summary:
As a WordPress Developer at Thirdessential IT Solutions , you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. You must have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things web and a desire to create outstanding user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Implement site designs, themes, and custom features based on specifications.
- Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and functional websites.
- Conduct website performance tests and implement improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and the web development industry.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3,Reactjs, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, and database management.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that websites will adhere to them.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of other CMS platforms and web frameworks.
- Familiarity with web hosting environments and management.
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Strong portfolio of work showcasing successful projects.
